Wilder Lazo’s family in San Adolfo, Huila, is a passionate coffee-producing crew that’s faced many ups and downs. After a fire forced them off their farm, they came back stronger thanks to their dad’s determination. Everyone pitches in: mum gardens, the kids handle drying, processing, and selling. They’ve turned their farm into a hub for specialty coffee with amazing flavors and aromas. Their dedication not only kept their dreams alive but also secured a better future for their kids. Wilder’s expertise in coffee genetics and processes is top-notch, focusing on bringing out the best in each varietal. Recently, he joined the El Placer Farms Project to connect more directly with coffee roasters and drinkers, thanks to his friendship with Sebastian Ramirez. Wilder Lazo’s story is all about perseverance, hard work, and family passion.
